Time & Attendance is a standalone service, not a plan tier — you can add it to any PayAnt plan, including Starter, and you can drop it again at the end of a month. It is priced purely per active employee, with no flat fee and no hardware lock-in: use a ZKTeco-family terminal you already own, a phone or tablet as a kiosk, or simply upload the log your terminal exports.

Fingerprint terminals
Wall-mounted ZKTeco-family readers push punches to PayAnt over your internet connection through a small bridge — no manual exports.
Phone or tablet kiosk
No hardware to buy: a shared phone, tablet or laptop becomes a clocking point using its own fingerprint sensor.
PIN fallback
Worn prints are a fact of life in manual trades. Staff can clock with an employee number and PIN, recorded as unverified so nothing is hidden.
Overtime, calculated
Hours beyond the standard day pay at 1.5×, and rest-day or public-holiday work at 2× — the Employment Act shape, applied automatically.
Approve, then pay
A manager reviews the period, fixes missed punches, and approves. Approving freezes the hours, and the pay run reads only approved timesheets.
An audit trail that holds up
Every punch keeps its source, the clocking point and whether a fingerprint actually matched. No biometric template is ever stored by PayAnt.
Common questions
Do I have to upgrade my plan to get it?
No. Time & Attendance is an independent service that sits on top of whatever plan you are on, so a Starter client can use it without moving to Growth or Business.
What does it cost?
It is charged per active employee per month, with no flat fee: P15 each for teams up to 10, stepping down through the bands to P4 each on payrolls above 500. It appears as its own line on your monthly invoice.
Do I need to buy a fingerprint machine?
No. A shared phone or tablet can be the clocking point using its built-in fingerprint sensor. If you already own a fingerprint terminal, you can keep using it.
Does PayAnt store my staff's fingerprints?
No. A terminal matches the fingerprint on the device and sends only its own user number; a phone or tablet keeps the print in its secure hardware and gives PayAnt only a public key. We store the mapping, never the biometric.
What happens if someone forgets to clock out?
The shift is closed automatically overnight, capped at the standard working day, and flagged on the timesheet so a manager can correct it before payroll is run.
